Launch Xilinx's iMPACT.
For now, say no when / if asked to create a new project. Also close the "New iMPACT project box".
Double click "Boundary Scan" in the "iMPACT Flows" box.
Right click in the new "Boundary Scan" box, and select "Initialize Chain"
Two devices should now be seen in iMPACT. The XC5VFX30T and a XC9536XL.
If you don't see anything, it might be that you have the SMT568 plugged in the wrong way round. Try the other way round and rescan the chain.
For now, say "No" to assigning configuration files, and also close the "Device programming properties" box.
Double click the XC5VFX30T and select "hpi_top.bit" from where you have saved it.

A blue "Programming Succeeded" box should be shown. The LEDs near where you connected the SMT568 should be flashing once more.
